Thursday Nicolette and Will finished our OYE 2025 season! Will placed 7th in a tough class of dark cross barrows and Nicolette was 11th with her crossbred steer!! Both students did amazing and represented DCLA well as usual!

Piper took the opportunity to do something new today and attended the OYE ExpOSUre Livestock Docs workshop! She learned different veterinary medicine practices, good health management practices and how to get ahead to be able to get into vet school.

Congratulations to our two pig showmen, Will and Hadlee, for competing this week at OKLAHOMA YOUTH EXPO in OKC! This is the state championship of livestock shows!! The competition is EXTREMELY TOUGH!! They did a great job and represented DCLA well. Will even brought home two top ten ribbons. What a great week!

REMINDER! FFA Blue and Gold will be delivered today by noon. Parents are welcome to pick up anytime after noon and before 4:00. Due to the number of days this semester we have been out of school students will not be allowed to check out as an activity absence! Mrs J will be at the school until 4:00 for pickup.
