🚌 PEP BUS INFORMATION (Grades 7–12)
We will take a pep bus leaving from the high school at 5:00 PM. Entry will be taken care of for students riding the bus. Students will need to bring money for food and snacks.
🪑 SEATING & FAN EXPECTATIONS
We are the visiting team, so sit on the side of the score table. There will be a section reserved for our fans, but it will not be available until our game begins. There is a game after ours, so we will need to clear the fan section immediately following our game.
Tuesday will be the first-ever basketball games played in the new facility, so expect possible delays and be patient as everyone adjusts.
🚫 No posters or noise makers are allowed.
👜 CLEAR BAG POLICY
The OKC Fairgrounds has a clear bag policy and walk-through scanners in place for the OSSAA State Tournament at the OGE Coliseum. Approved bags include a clear plastic tote no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” or a one-gallon clear freezer bag. Nontransparent clutch wallets no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” are allowed, along with clear fanny packs and clear crossbody bags. No other purses or bags, including diaper bags, will be permitted. Limit one bag per person. Medical bags are allowed but will be searched at the gate. This policy applies to fans and spectators.

Northwestern Oklahoma State University is hosting a Renewable Energy Summer Camp May 27–31, 2024. This opportunity is open to all Oklahoma students entering grades 9–12 in fall 2026.
The camp is completely FREE thanks to a grant from the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.
Students will explore renewable energy concepts through hands-on STEM activities on the NWOSU campus. Applications will be accepted online from March 1 through April 1, 2024.

Today we finished up Northwest District Junior Livestock Show with the goat show! Hadley did a great job showing her doe! Thank you to all the families and supporters that made the week awesome!


Sheep day was a lot of fun! Our showmen did a great job and improved so much from county! Congratulations to Tirsah, Bristol, Juan Louis, and Raiden on a great year!






Our solo showman for cattle did a great job representing DCLA yesterday! Congrats to Piper and good luck at OYE!

From the OSSAA: We just wanted to welcome everyone to the Mvskoke Dome this year!! Attached is a road closure for the front entrance of the dome this year, if you are traveling north on highway 75 you will go past the Creek Nation travel plaza and then turn left at the next road which is Gun club road, If you are traveling southbound on highway 75 you will turn right at the Gun club road then proceed west to preston dr then turn south.

Today at the Northwest District Livestock Show, our ag mechanics team took center stage. Will and Cooper agreed to be the first DCLA team to enter this contest! Unfortunately Will had a family funeral he needed to attend so Jonas stepped in to fill his spot and assist Cooper in presenting their project! They ended the day 3rd overall in the wood division and Cooper won a showmanship prize! Thank you boys for stepping up and being the first DCLA team to take on this contest!

Our FFA officers enjoyed some time at the Oklahoma Capitol Wednesday. We attended a session where they heard from legislators about the impact of FFA and importance of trying new things and being a leader with in our communities and state. They represented DCLA well!

DCLA FFA is enjoying some fun for National FFA week a little early (next week is the official week and we have the district stock show!)
Today we made breakfast for the teachers and lunch for the high school basketball teams! We are cheering on our District Champions as they travel to play their next round tonight at Agra!

Last week our students had a great week at the county livestock show! We had 13 students show and a few extras compete in the livestock judging contest!! We had multiple class winners, and showmanship champions. Our big excitement was Bristol Darling: Grand AND Reserve Grand Lamb
