🎮🔥 DCLA Esports Update 🔥🎮

Last Saturday, April 10, our two junior high Fortnite teams competed in the Oklahoma Scholastic Esports League State Playoffs!

To even qualify for this level of competition, teams had to rank in the top 24 out of 56 teams across the state — a huge accomplishment in itself 👏

Van and Reyden, along with alternate Eli, wrapped up a strong season after battling in Round 1 of the playoffs. They showed great teamwork and determination all season long 💪

Reagan and Connor had an incredible run, finishing the season undefeated and earning 4th place in the entire state 🏆🔥

We are proud of all of these students for representing DCLA so well. They competed with skill, sportsmanship, and effort every step of the way. Great job, Eagles! 🦅🎮

Looking for a great summer opportunity? Oklahoma Business Week is a business-focused summer camp for high school students (grades 9–12) held May 31–June 4, 2026, on the campus of East Central University.

Students will step into the role of a business leader by joining a “company,” working as a team, and competing in real-world business challenges. Along the way, they will build skills in leadership, communication, teamwork, money management, entrepreneurship, and marketing while learning directly from business professionals. Students will also experience college life, meet new people, explore career options, and have opportunities to earn scholarships and prizes.

The cost starts at $200 and includes housing and meals for the entire week, with additional merit- and need-based scholarships available so that finances are not a barrier.

Spots are limited to 60 students, and the final application deadline is May 1, so do not wait to apply.

See the flyer in this post for more details and application information.
