Looking for a great summer opportunity? Oklahoma Business Week is a business-focused summer camp for high school students (grades 9–12) held May 31–June 4, 2026, on the campus of East Central University.

Students will step into the role of a business leader by joining a “company,” working as a team, and competing in real-world business challenges. Along the way, they will build skills in leadership, communication, teamwork, money management, entrepreneurship, and marketing while learning directly from business professionals. Students will also experience college life, meet new people, explore career options, and have opportunities to earn scholarships and prizes.

The cost starts at $200 and includes housing and meals for the entire week, with additional merit- and need-based scholarships available so that finances are not a barrier.

Spots are limited to 60 students, and the final application deadline is May 1, so do not wait to apply.

See the flyer in this post for more details and application information.

DCLA Eagles competed exceptionally well at the NOC Interscholastic Meet on April 1, and we are proud of how our high school students represented our school.

Here are our top performances:

Kaplan – 1st place, English 2

Ruthie – 4th place, Algebra 1
Jonas – 4th place, Chemistry

Piper – 5th place, Ag 1
Tirsah – 5th place, Ag 2

We also had several other students compete well in very competitive fields, and we are proud of their effort and preparation.

This meet reflects the academic strength we continue to build at DCLA. These students showed determination, knowledge, and confidence.

Great job, Eagles.

It was a BUSY week for several of our students. Rescheduled track meets, Blue and Gold delivery, state testing, Academic Testing, and they still managed to fit some FFA contests in! They represented us well at a speech contest and livestock judging contest. Our livestock judging team took 3rd at Redlands in the non reasons division! Exciting week for our Eagles!

Bristol, Piper, Chase, Tirsah and Derby judged 10 classes of livestock and did 2 questions classes on Tuesday!
We made our way to Burlington for speech contests and even threw an 8th grader into the full creed and she did great!! Piper, Reagan, Jonas and Chase gave it their all on Monday, even after a track meet!
