Weâre celebrating our amazing staff with a blast from the pastâeach day features a fun dress-up theme and a way to show gratitude:
Monday: 50s Sock Hop
Dress in your best 50s attire and give a thank-you note to your favorite staffâlet them know theyâre the âBeeâs Knees!â
Tuesday: 60s Tie-Dye Day
Wear tie-dye and spread peace! Bring flowers for a staff member who brightens your day.
Wednesday: 80s Neon Day
Rock your best 80s look and deliver neon sticky notes or a mini pack of gum to a favorite staff member.
Thursday: 90s Throwback
Break out the grunge or bright 90s colors and surprise staff with a cool drink or treatâtell them why theyâre âthe coolest!â

đŽ Esports Update from DCLA!
Tate and Dawson represented our high school in the state playoffs on Tuesday, April 29. The virtual tournament occurred in the DCLA Esports room, and they competed throughout the morning. If they advance to the championship match, it will be held in person on May 5!
đ Be sure also to congratulate Paxton and Joseph from the junior high! Both qualified for the state playoffs in the small schools division. Paxton couldnât compete due to a conflict, but Joseph gave it his all and finished #3 in the state!

Please check backpacks, cars, and around the house for any books that belong to the school. Getting all our books back helps us save money and keeps our library full for next yearâs readers.

The DCLA KidWind teams had a fantastic day, proudly representing our school with their hard work and knowledge! âĸ Ilianna earned 1st place in her division with an impressive 91% score! âĸ Hadlee, Adleigh, Clara, and Aubreeâs team brought home 2nd place with a 90%! âĸ Kater, Juan Louis, and Raiden scored a strong 87%, just missing the top three. Congratulations to all of the students for their outstanding performances, and a big thank you to Mrs. Hacker and Ms. Golay for sponsoring and supporting the teams! Way to go, Eagles!

Good luck to our DCLA KidWind teams heading to the Oklahoma KidWind Challenge this Friday, April 25, at High Plains Technology Center in Woodward! Our students have been working hard designing and testing their wind turbines, and now it's time to showcase their innovation and teamwork on the state stage.î
The competition runs from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and includes turbine testing, presentations to judges, and instant challenges. î
